⚠️ New this year, if you are interested in transportation for the 24-25 school year, you now have to “opt-in” through your Parent Portal Account. Please visit lausd.org/schoolbus for step-by-step instructions.⚠️

Transportation Guidelines:

District-paid transportation may be provided for ELEMENTARY (K-5) magnet students if they reside outside a 1-mile radius of the magnet school they attend. SECONDARY (6-12) students may be eligible for transportation to a magnet school if the student resides outside of a 3-mile radius.

Students who attend the following span schools may receive transportation if they reside outside of a 1-mile radius: Arroyo Seco Lake Balboa, Laurel, Sherman Oaks CES, Western Ave and Westside.

Additional routes and stops will not be added.

NOTE: The maximum one-way riding time guideline for all students (grades Kindergarten through 12) is 90 minutes. This applies to all bus routes.
